Fairtex has a rich history that dates back to  1958 when the name "Fairtex" was registered as a trademark in Thailand. In  1971, Philip Wong, the Chairman and Founder of Fairtex, established Fairtex Garments Factory Company Limited, which later became the parent company of the Fairtex Group.

In the mid-1970s, Fairtex introduced high-quality Fairtex branded T-shirts to the Thai department store market, becoming the number one brand in Thailand. Mr. Wong expanded the business by exporting Fairtex products under private brands worldwide.

In  1975, Mr. Wong created Fairtex Muay Thai Camp Thailand as a way to give back to the community and provide opportunities for underprivileged children and young men through Muay Thai training. The camp was initially located in central Bangkok but later moved to Banplee, a location chosen for its professional training atmosphere away from the distractions of the city.

Mr. Wong became a promoter at Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in  1978 and established Fairtex Promotions. He was one of the first to promote foreign fighters in the stadium and invited ESPN2 to cover Fairtex sponsored World Muay Thai Council (WMC) world championship title fights.

Fairtex Muay Thai Camp was one of the first Thai camps to train foreigners and female athletes, breaking taboos at the time. In  1993, Mr. Wong fulfilled his dream of bringing Muay Thai to the USA by establishing Fairtex Muay Thai Camp in Chandler, Arizona. The camp had state-of-the-art facilities and aimed to improve the safety of Muay Thai by providing top-quality training and equipment.

To meet the increasing demand for Fairtex equipment, Mr. Wong started manufacturing equipment at Fairtex Garments Factory in Bangkok in  1994. The demand for Fairtex equipment quickly grew, leading to the establishment of Fairtex Gear, Inc. in  1998 to sell and distribute Fairtex equipment in North America.

In  1999, Fairtex Equipment Company Limited was established in Thailand as the Fairtex Worldwide Headquarters. The company expanded into the European market, starting with the United Kingdom. Fairtex also entered the world of MMA by sponsoring UFC Champion Pat "The Croatian Sensation" Miletich, marking the beginning of their involvement in the sport.

Over the years, Fairtex has continued to expand its presence globally. They established gyms in Japan and the USA, and in  2005, they broke ground on a Muay Thai and fitness complex in Pattaya, Thailand. The facility is a premier training center with state-of-the-art amenities and has been recognized as the best Muay Thai gym in Asia.

Today, Fairtex is recognized as the gear of champions and is endorsed by world champion fighters, instructors, promoters, and sanctioning bodies worldwide. They are known for their high-quality, innovative equipment and have produced over  60 champions with titles such as Lumpinee, Rajadamnern, WBC Muay Thai, and more.

With their in-depth knowledge and expertise in Muay Thai, Fairtex continues to develop and innovate premium fight sports equipment. Their motto is to "Be Inspired," and they strive to provide athletes with the best gear to enhance their performance in the ring.
